Our Story

The seed was planted in 2015, Mr. TLC had finished culinary school and Mrs. TLC was attending business school. We’ve always loved and used marijuana both recreationally and medicinally and had the idea to combine our two loves, baking and ganja. We decided to make delicious cannabis products and make them accessible to all who need and enjoy cannabis. After months of research and much overindulgence on our part, The Local Crop sprouted and took root.

We began by catering friends’ birthdays and parties with cannabis infused goodies. Every crumb was devoured, and everyone raved about their tastiness. So, we continued baking and eventually started taking our goodies to festivals, bringing the infused deliciousness to the greater populous where they (and their crumbs) continue to be gobbled up and adored.

At The Local Crop we are passionate about creating delectable edibles people can enjoy both recreationally and benefit from medically. Our menu is handcrafted in small batches, using the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients to ensure that you get only the best from us. As well, all products are regularly lab tested, through Caritox, to ensure that they are up to standard and the potency is just right. We create a wide range of products to satisfy every palate, as well as always being up for a challenge, we’re forever open to creating new treats by request, and know you will find something you’ll love.

The Local Crop believes in creating something beneficial for Jamaica and our people. We have started by sourcing the best local ingredients and products and look forward to continuing this idea in a variety of ways as we grow. Throughout 2018, we will be starting one of our many plans to pay it forward to the community and we hope you’ll be with us for this journey.
